Over the last several years, with the formation of the Atlantic Schools of Business (ASB) Executive and the ASB renewal initiative, the annual ASB conference is becoming increasingly recognized as a venue for national and international scholars to showcase their research in both the administrative sciences and in pedagogy.

Halifax will provide a wonderful backdrop and an interesting and diverse program as host for the fortieth annual ASB conference. As Canada's longest running conference for business academics the ASB has a rich tradition of bringing post-secondary researchers and instructors together to disseminate research and teaching knowledge. The conference represents an opportunity to publish peer-reviewed research in the proceedings or receive feedback for works-in-progress in a collegial setting. As a showcase for research and teaching activities, the ASB is also an excellent venue for graduate students to present their work. I hope that you will all come and join us in October.

Au cours des dernières années, avec la création de l'exécutif de l'Atlantic Schools of Business (ASB) et l'initiative de renouvellement, la conférence annuelle de l'ASB est de plus en plus reconnue comme un lieu pour les chercheurs nationaux et internationaux de présenter leurs travaux de recherche dans les sciences administratives et de pédagogie.

Halifax sera un merveilleux endroit et un programme varié et intéressant en tant que hôte de la trente-neuvième conférence annuelle de l'ASB. Étant la plus longue conférence active au Canada pour les affaires académiques, l'ASB a une tradition riche de réunir les chercheurs et les instructeurs post-secondaires afin de diffuser les connaissances de recherches et d'enseignement. La conférence représente une opportunité de publier une recherche évaluée par les pairs ou de recevoir une rétroaction pour les travaux en cours dans l'établissement collégial. Comme une vitrine de la recherche et d'activités d'enseignement, l'ASB est également une excellente occasion pour les étudiants diplômés à présenter leur travail.
